Daily Protien 200 gm
Isn't it wonderful when our children are active? Sometimes we have a hard time keeping up with them, but the healthy radiance that they have when they have been running, swimming, cycling, skateboarding - it makes parenting all the more worth while. All of this is part of what makes growing up fun. Not only our children's growth, but our own growth as parents too.
But what toll does all of this activity take on our children's growing bodies?
Their bodies are constantly growing. Our children's muscles, skin, hair and organs are always in a state of growth. Our children's young bodies require protein.
Benefits of Protein :
In other words, proteins are important for everything from your child's growth to building their immune system to help protect them from illness to keeping everything from their hair and nails to their skin, bones and organs healthy.
How Much Protein Do Our Children Need?
So how much protein do our children, and us (for we have to try to keep up with them), need each day? It depends on how active your child is and adjustments should be made in accordance with their activity level. Very active children involved in high energy sports will require more proteins and nutrition. The normal Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) for protein, determined by body weight and age are:
1 to 3 year-old children: 0.55 grams of protein per pound of body weight
4 to 6 year-old children: 0.50 grams of protein per pound of body weight
7 to 14 year-old children: 0.45 grams of protein per pound of body weight
15+ year old children and adults: 0.40 grams of protein per pound of body weight
Our kids get their vitamins, proteins, minerals and other nutrients through a healthy diet. Vegetables, eggs, meats, fruit, milk products, all of these nutritious foods allow our children to grown healthy and strong.
Sometimes its just not enough. As parents, our schedules can be busy and we don't take the time needed to make a complete meal for our kids. Everyone is rushing to get ready in the morning and the kids are eating some toast with jam or cereals, pre-sweetened or covered with sugar. Is this giving them the proteins and vitamins that they need for the day? Not really, but it isn't every day that we can fry up some egg whites on spelt toast and slice up some fruit for them.
This is where a delicious healthy protein shake can be a fast fun way in which to provide your children with the proteins and vitamins that their growing bodies need. Daily Protein has 20 vital nutrients which take care of your children overall growth.
