The most common side effects of Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet are - Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Dryness In Mouth, Altered Taste, Abdominal Pain, Agitation, Anxiety, Fever, Constipation, Allergic Reaction, Impaired Concentration, Sweating, Headache
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet
Do not use Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Cefpodoxime, Clavulanic Acid
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet.

Dosage of Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet
Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet contains - Cefpodoxime, Clavulanic Acid
Cefpodoxime interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis by inhibiting the final step in the crosslinking of peptidoglycan strands. Peptidoglycan makes cell membranes rigid and protective. Without it, bacterial cells rupture and die.
Overdose of Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet
The dosage of Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Ontadox-CV 200mg/125mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :-
aminoglycosides, loop diuretics: Increased risk of nephrotoxicity.
antacids, H2-receptor antagonists: Reduced bioavailability and blood level of cefpodoxime.
oral anticholinergics: Delayed peak blood level of cefpodoxime.
probenecid: Possibly increased and prolonged blood cefpodoxime level.
